Full Tilt Review

Full Tilt Poker Site Overview: FTP was the darling child of players across the world prior to April 15th, 2011.  On an already notorious day for US citizens (it's tax deadline day in the USA) the unspeakable happened - the US government seized FullTilt's website and effectively lead to their shut down.  FTP was later found to be insolvent and was eventually purchased / bailed out by PokerStars.  All players balances were restored and paid out in full!  Now FTP is owned and operated by the top-notch folks over at PokerStars.  There is no better run company than the Rational Group (owners of both sites).  FullTiltPoker is now the de facto "test bed" for innovations that are to be rolled out for Poker Stars, which is rather neat as FTP players get to experience all the goodies first!

Full Tilt Poker currently hosts about 7% of world wide  onlinepoker traffic.  This large amount of player traffic and game liquidity allows them to offer a vast array of real money games to what are referred to as "Rest-Of-World", or ROW, players (basically anyone not in the USA, which is now excluded from playing on FTP and PS).  Offering dependable software, second only to Pokerstars poker-client, FTP is a solid addition to any player's repertoire.  The cashouts are blazingly fast and reliable.  The payout methods include but are not limited to Skrill and Neteller transactions that arrive in mere minutes, with maximums of $50,000 USD per transaction!

Variety of Full Tilt Cash Games:  FTP offers more game types than any other online-poker-site.  All of the standard flavors of Texas Holdem, Omaha, and 7Card Stud are offered.  However, as they are the testbed for PokerStars, lots of other variants come into play.  For example, 5 card Pot Limit Omaha was first tried out on FullTilt, and its success lead to the creation of the craziest and most fun game we've ever played, 6card Omaha!  The full list of cash games types offered at FTP is staggering: Hold'Em, Omaha Hi, Omaha Hi/Lo, Razz, Stud Hi, Stud Hi/Lo, 5-Card stud, 5-Card Draw, 2-7 Triple Draw, 2-7 Single Draw, A-5 Triple Draw, Badugi, HORSE, HA, and even a 10 game mix!  Many of these cash games come in different formats such as heads up, 6max, full ring, forced ante, deep stacked, shallow tables, and Rush (fast fold) variants.

Variety of Full Tilt Tournaments:  FTP's tournament offerings are equally impressive.  Both the multi-table tournaments [MTT] and sit-and-go [SNG] offerings are quite vast.  The full list of MTT types include: Double Chance, Triple Chance, Escalator, Re-Entry, Multi-Entry, Steps, On Demand, Cashout Poker Tournaments, Matrix, Flipouts, Shootouts, Rebuys, Knockout and Bounty, Flips, Multi-Day.  These online poker MTTs have lots of nice features such as Automatic Tournament Deals, Late Registration, and Synchronized Breaks.  There are also innovative types of SNG structures such as the new JackPot structure where randomly 1st price may receive anywhere from 2 to 1000 times the initial buyin!  Other types of SNG structures include regular speed, turbo speed, hypers, double ups and more.

Full Tilt gives players of all skill levels a safe and secure place to ply their craft.  With competitive rewards, bonus offers, player-to-player transfer ability, and more, Full Tilt Poker offers something for any player. Be sure to follow our instructions below on how to sign up!

Full Tilt Poker Rakeback:  Before being shut down by the United States government's Department of Justice, Full Tilt Poker rakeback existed at a rate of 27%.  After being purchased by Rational Group, Full Tilt rakeback was not reinstituted.  Other poker networks did copy the 27% rakeback rate however, such as the Americas Cardroom rakeback program.
