Custom poker game table limits have been reduced in the latest gaming client update...
As Professional Rakeback posted a few days back, there was an updated to the Merge Gaming poker client that took place early morning today on September 18th, 2012. Check our prior post for the details of that update. However, an unannounced change also took place. The custom games tab, which albeit did not receive much traffic, was updated. Games of all many types were available here to be made with any number of seats from 2-9 and from micro stakes through 50/100. Now the seating is standardized at heads up (2 players), 6max, and full ring (9 handed) tables. The stakes are also capped at 10/20 limits.
That said, there were some positive changes and a wide swath of game options were added. These include Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha H/L8 (L08), 7-Stud, 7-Stud H/L8, Razz, 5-Stud, 5-Draw, 5-Draw w/Joker, A-5 Lowball, 2-7 Lowball, Badugi, HORSE, HOSE, SHOE, HA, HO, HAR, and RASH. All versions of Limit, No Limit (NL), and Pot Limit (PL) are offered.
Carbon Poker, PDC Poker and Aced are still the best options for USA based poker players, both recreational, and profesional online grinders to play/work. Merge has great traffic and relatively speedy cashouts with a B+ rating in the most recent industry report quoted below:

Merge Gaming maintains its position from last month. Checks are processed in 2-4 weeks and carry a fee of about $20 depending on the player's VIP level. Some players that have deposited by cash transfer have it as an option. Cash transfers are processed in 2-10 days. Players may request one cash transfer per week up to $900. The fee is $30.
