Bovada Poker and Bodog are offering $5,500 packages to the Punta Cana Poker Classic in the Dominican Republic via satellite and daily qualifying tournaments.
Bovada Poker, the US online poker site on the Bodog Network, will be offering up 15 packages to the Punta Cana Poker Classic over the next several weeks.
The packages are each valued at $5,500 and include a $1,650 buy-in to the Poker Classic main event, which takes place in the Dominican Republic. Six nights hotel stay and a travel allowance are also included, along with all-inclusive food and drinks as well as "Bovada swag".
The promotion began on August 3rd and will continue running daily qualifiers and satellites through October 13th. The actual satellite events, where three packages will be awarded in each tournament, begin this Sunday, August 17th and will run again on September 1st, September 14th, September 28th, and October 13th.
Players can qualify for these satellites for as little as $0.44 every day by taking part in events listed in green font in their Bovada poker client. Formats include sit-n-go's, turbo events, and "cheap seat" tournaments that run all day long. You can also buy-in directly to a package satellite for $250+$20, if you'd prefer.
