How to Qualify

The main satellite for the High-Stakes Adventure Montenegro will take place on Sunday, April 27 at 2:05 p.m. ET and will cost $2,650 to join. There are two packages guaranteed.

If you can't quite scrape together the full $2,650 sticker price but would still like to compete for a chance at winning a prize package, then you can enter one of numerous sub-satellites. Most of these aren't specifically listed as High-Stakes Montenegro satellites but are rather part of the VENOM qualifiers. Because the VENOMs and the High-Stakes Adventure Main Satellite both have buyins of $2,650, it appears that you can use a VENOM ticket to enter this Montenegro tournament at least in certain cases. These feeder tournaments start at $30 + $3.

About the Super High Roller Series

Getting its start in 2015, the Triton Poker Series can't make any serious claims about longevity or historical prestige. Yet in its short time in existence, it has certainly made a name for itself. Focusing almost exclusively on big-buyin tournaments, there's hardly an event during any Triton Series with a buyin of less than $25,000. Developed by Paul Phua and Richard Yong, Triton has redefined high-stakes poker, and its tournaments often feature the most prominent players in the world.

The Triton Poker Super High Roller Series Montenegro 2025 schedule fits in with this vision. There are 17 tournaments with buyins ranging from $25,000 to $200,000. The festival will run from May 13 to 27 with the Main Event taking place from May 21 to 23. The Main (event #10) costs $100,000 + $6,000 to enter, and it is a three-day event. Initial blinds are 500/1,000/1,000 with a starting stack of 250,000, so play begins reasonably deep.

Other notable tourneys include event #15, the $100,000-buyin + $4,000 entry fee PLO Main Event, which plays out over the course of two days. There's also a two-day Mystery Bounty tourney (#5) with a $40,000 + $2,400 buyin and entry fee. As mentioned earlier, rather than playing in the Main, individuals qualifying through ACR can elect to play any combination of events with buyins and fees not exceeding $110,000.

About Montenegro

The area now known as Montenegro has historically been part of the Roman, Venetian, Ottoman, and Austrian empires although it did have intervals of independence too. In its modern form, it achieved independence in 2006 following the breakup of Yugoslavia of which it had been a constituent republic. The country is part of the Balkans in southeastern Europe.
