Winning Poker Network News Update November 2014

WPN Steps Up Game with Sit N’ Crush Promo; The Cage

America’s Cardroom, part of the Winning Poker Network (WPN), announced today that they will be adding $2,500 per week for the next 90 days to the popular Sit n’ Crush promotion that rewards players for playing Sit & Go’s weekly.  This great announcement comes on the heels of another successful “Cage” event, which is a hybrid cash game and tournament and right before the first ever PLO “Cage” set to take place on November 26th at 8PM ET. Other skins participating include Black Chip Poker, True Poker, and Spanish poker site Ya Poker.

Sit N’ Crush Rake Race Gets Added Value!

Winning Poker Network (WPN) is once again trying to earn the adoration of the players by offering more free money in its promotions.  This time we see them adding money to Sit n’ Crush which is a weekly leader board that rewards players for playing different Sit & Go’s.  WPN is going to be adding $2,500 every week, $32,500 total during the duration of the promotion, over the next 90 days to help pump up the Sit & Go’s even more.

Players can earn their share of the money by competing in any Sit & Go’s, but can earn extra points by participating in certain formats.  To gain points faster, Winning Poker Network players are invited to play certain Sit & Go's with $30 buy-ins or less and earn extra points. Players will earn 2x points for regular Sit & Go's, 1.5x points for Turbo & Hyper Sit & Go's, and 4x points in On-Demand tourneys. Winning Poker Network is also offering 2x points during select hours with Happy Hours.

The added money promotion will run from November 15th through February 13th. As of late, the Sit N' Crush promotion has been paying out the top fifty five to sixty five sit and go grinders on Winning Poker Network skins cash prizes on top of their rakeback or Elite Benefits VIP payments. The top fifteen to twenty SNG grinders are also getting additional satellite tickets to live poker events like Panama Millions, Punta Cana, and the upcoming $1,000,000 guaranteed tournament to be hosted on WPN on December 14th 2014.

The Cage Continues to Excite - Results

Last night was the second installment of “The Cage” and it was once again a success, though not quite as much as its inaugural iteration.  The tournament and cash game hybrid sports a entry of $5,000 + $100 and has players play with each other until a certain amount of time has elapsed with no chance of cashing out early.  At the end of the time players cash out the remaining chips for a share of the prize pool.  You are not guaranteed to leave with a profit as last night made clear, but it’s a chance for high stakes games to be played on American sites, which has been a bit rare.  It also avoids some of the common pitfalls of cash game poker like losing multiple buy-ins, bum hunting and stalling.

Last night a huge number of players ponied up the $5,100 and entered “The Cage.”  125 players entered and only 9 left with any money in their accounts.  From America’s Cardroom press release:  player YoSoyFiesta accumulated the most chips and took home a cash prize of $39,691. In second place raycab was also able to crush the tables and pocketed a $33,076 pay day.  Players Euclidean ($14,335), MoodyAlchemist ($9,987), Tilt-A-Whirl ($9,526), Madam Truffle ($6,972), hckyplr20 ($6,141), Leatherass9 ($3,086) and PumpkinTits ($2,186) also collected cash when the clock counted down to zero.

This is a great result for such a high buy-in event and shows the strength of the network currently. This tournament rivals the size of any weekly online poker tournament offered to US players by offshore poker sites.  On November 26th at 8 PM ET there is going to be the first PLO version of “The Cage” and it is sure to be an exciting affair with the same buy-in and rules, but an even more exciting and variance heavy game being undertaken by the combatants.  If you want to be a part of the PLO “Cage” event or a future NL variant, there are satellites running for as little money as $1.85 meaning it’s open to everyone and anyone who wants to test their mettle against the best players with huge high stakes sums of money on the line!

This news combined with the $1 million guaranteed tournament on December 14 on WPN that we talked about here should have everyone excited.  If you want to win big and do it in style, then WPN is a great place to deposit and reap the rewards.  Here at professionalrakeback.com we have great reviews and offers for many skins on WPN, take a look and tell us how you like the site!
