About the Series

Blue Info Button

The Super Millions consists of 101 numbered events with three of them starting every weekday, four every Saturday, and six on each Sunday.

As part of the series festivities, some of the tourneys on the normal weekly schedule will be replaced with more lucrative opportunities. The $150 + $12 $100,000 Gtds that would normally occur on July 28, Aug. 5, Aug. 12, Aug. 19, and Aug. 26 will be replaced with $115,000 Gtd MTTs at the same price of entry. Similarly, the regular weekly High Roller $300 + $25 $75K Gtd contests will be superseded by $100K events at the same buyin level for the following four dates: July 28, Aug. 5, Aug. 12, Aug. 19. Furthermore, the normal High Roller game on Aug. 26 will be replaced by a $100K tournament that will take place a day earlier, on Aug. 25.

These special, jumbo-sized editions of the flagship PWL tourneys can still be entered with normal tickets for the events in question. If you've got some tickets that you’ve been hoarding, perhaps the extra prize pools on offer will entice you to dispose of them.

The remainder of the MTT roster lists events ranging from $15 + $1.50 to $425 + $25. There are two Main Events, both set to take place on the final day of the series, Aug. 26. The Mini Main Event requires $75 + $7 to enter, and it guarantees $75,000. The full-sized Main Event costs $425 + $25 to join, and the prize pool will be no less than $300,000.

Other interesting tourneys include:

  • Sat., Aug. 4, Event #23: $40 + $4 Monster Stack - $20,000 Gtd
  • Sat., Aug. 18, Event #71: $75 + $7 Pot Limit Omaha Lucky Sevens - $17,777 Gtd
  • Wed., Aug. 22, Event #86: $100 + $9 Heads-Up - $10,000 Gtd
  • Sun., Aug. 26, Event #100: $250 + $25 Knockout ($50) - $40,000 Gtd

Qualifiers Available

Satellite Tourneys

Poker room management realizes that not everyone wishes to pay the entire amount of the Super Millions buyins particularly for some of the pricier events. Therefore, there are a ton of satellites available that allow you to score your entry for less.

These feeder tournaments start as low as $4 + $0.40. Many of them award tickets that are good for any SMPO competition of the appropriate buyin level. There are also satellites that award entry specifically to the Main Event. If you should win a seat into a particular tournament, then you have to use it on the target event, or else the ticket will be forfeit. This also means that there's no purpose in attempting to pick up multiple tickets to the same MTT because you won't derive any benefit from doing so.

You can also endeavor to qualify through sit n' gos. There are single-table sattys from $10 + $1 to $75 + $7. There are only six entrants in each SNG, so you stand a pretty decent chance of winning, and the process shouldn't take too much time.
