About the Series

Blue Info Graphic

The Super Millions Poker Open consists of a whopping 139 events that take place just about every day over a four-week period. Each weekend will see 12 events with 5 happening on Saturdays and 7 on Sundays. During the week, there will be 4 events each day with one taking place in the morning and the other 3 happening during the evening. Keep in mind that the timing used for this tournament schedule is Eastern Standard.

The Super Millions Poker Open will feature many of the tournaments you would otherwise see scheduled during a normal week; however, the guarantees will be increased. The Sunday Major, for example, will still feature its standard $150 + $12 buy-in, but the guarantee will be bumped up by $50,000 to a total of $150,000. High-roller events, also on Sundays, will also see their guarantees increased by $25,000 to $100,000 but will remain at the usual $300 + $25 buyin level.

The remainder of the SMPO events will see buyins range from $25 + $2.50 to as high as $425 + $25. There are two main events, both of which will be held on Sunday, Aug. 18.

The first is coined a Mini-Main Event and will feature $100,000 guaranteed with a buy-in of just $100+$9. The second and bigger Main Event will be held later in the day and boasts a guaranteed prize pool of $400,000. The buy-in is $425 + $25.
