Cake Poker Renamed "Win Cake", Somehow Doesn't Magically Alter Public's Perception

Win Cake?

Cake Poker recently renamed itself "Win Cake" in an effort to make all of the juicy (not stakes, or steaks for that matter) goodness they have to offer sound almost good enough to eat. Too bad no one has fallen for the ploy - and their offerings still taste like the back of a well-worn shoe.

Apparently the move was made to try to summarize more of what Win Cake has to offer their clientele. As in, frosty casino play, wicked hot fudgey poker action, and of course, a slew of utter ridiculous references to sweet, delectable cake. Someone forgot to tell them that people aren't stupid, and it didn't take long for the poker community to have at 'em.

Ever since Lock Poker left the Merge Gaming Network (now featuring faster than stated timeframe cashouts - more on that tonight!) last year for what was then deemed the Cake Network (now the beleaguered Revolution Network), old patty Cakes (was that name taken?) has been in a steady free fall in terms of player participation. Add in the seemingly never-ending cashout debacles that have plagued fellow Revolution skins Lock Poker and the aforementioned not-so-Juicy Stakes, and you have a recipe for something other than a tasty treat.

If you're looking for a dependable, reliable, and speedy-to-cash-you-out room on Revolution - the only one we recommend as trustworthy on this network - check out Intertops. If you're looking for a steamy, expired plate of fish that's called cake but it's actually just a 5-year old bass carcass covered in strawberry whipped cream, then check out the not-so-new Win Cake. If you get an upset stomach, don't blame us. We tried to warn you.
