Merge Gaming Network Poker Software Update
The friendly staff at Professional Rakeback is here again with some epic good poker news. Today, Merge Poker is updating the already superb version six point zero poker software. We can expect a streamlined interface and maybe a couple more hands per hour as they have tweaked some internal code along with the plethora of changes we are going to report on below. Merge Gaming Network will be releasing a client patch on Tuesday October 23rd between 02:00 and 03:00 server time. Server time, as you may recall, is either Central Standard Time (CST) or Eastern Standard Time (EST), depending on US Daylight Savings Time. Currently, server time is CST. Notes about the upcoming patch are listed below:
- Any tournament expected to finish during this downtime period will be canceled.
- Reduced the amount of time finished and canceled tournaments remain visible in the lobby
- Added a "Don't remind me again" checkbox to the tournament start popup
- Added a reminder for players attempting to close the client while still registered for Sit N Go's
- Fixed an issue with persistent tournament status popup messages * *
- Renamed the stakes descriptor "Limit" to "Fixed Limit" on the lobby game-list filters
- Addition of the new and improved free Carbon Poker heads up display software and poker odds calculator
- Fixed an issue with the "Stand Up" option erroneously appearing in the middle of some hands
- Fixed incorrect Transaction History URL launched from within the client
- Fixed issue with game stakes selectors not showing correct tables
- New and improved login screen design
The down-time should not exceed 1 hour. Merge has been pretty good about sticking to their timeline's lately.
