The Carbon Online Poker Series, which sports an impressive two million USD aggregate tournament prize pool and is available for most US poker players, begins Sunday, November ninth 2014 - details inside.
Professional Rakeback is here to remind you of the upcoming tournament series at flagship Merge Gaming Network skin, Carbon Poker. Don't forget, this series begins November 9th 2014!
Carbon Poker is preparing to host the next installment of the “Carbon Online Poker Series” or OPS available to American players, as well as the rest of the world. This installment is much like the last series that our authors here are ProfessionalRakeback.com covered here, in that the Carbon OPS is offering over $2,000,000 in guaranteed overall prize pools spread across the 76 events being offered and over $500,000 in Main Event prize pools spread over the 6 buy-in levels during the last day of the series that runs from November 9th-Novemeber 23rd.
Merge Gaming Network's Online Poker Series, previoiusly named "Poker Maximums," has been a favorite of many players because they offer a wide range of buy-ins for a varying collection of events. This OPS offers events ranging from $5.50 up to $530 with lots of events in between at the $5.50, $11, $22, $33, $60, $109, $215 and $530 levels. There are 16 non-no limit hold’em events being offered during the series. These events including PLO, NLO, FLHE, HORSE and a few others. With 76 total events players can rest assured that they will have many opportunities to play all of the different games at different buy-in levels. All events also offer either rebuy or reentry formats, much like in past series.
There are some additions and subtractions that are pretty notable from this year’s lineup. There is not going to be any $1.10 or $2.20 events offered during the series or for the Main Events. These tournaments had been very popular among micros players and it unclear why they have decided to not make these available. A nice addition though is “mega stack” tournaments that are going to start with 15k in chips. These tournaments will allow the more skillful players to leverage their advantage more and will hopefully help negate any concerns about the structures for events.
Carbon Poker has consistent and reliable payouts according to player data reported online. Professional Rakeback scours the Internet in search of actual player reported data and aggregates it all in one convenient monthly report for our readers. The monthly US Poker Payout Guide is a great source of information on Carbon Poker payouts and cashouts, as well as tracking many other reputable and disreputable poker networks. They are not known for being the fastest site to payout, however current check payouts to US players are under two weeks. This should ease fears of any American players wanting to partake in this great series and capitalize on the immense value.
There is a pretty aggressive assortment of daily Main Event Satellites that offer anywhere from 3-5 seats. These tournaments will run daily before and throughout the series and offer great opportunities to qualify for all the Main Events at reasonable prices!
