Intertops recently unveiled a new Mac | Apple friendly feature that allows players to navigate poker tables, and casino offerings, on virtually any web browser in lieu of downloading software.

Called "Instant Play", users simply require free installation of Microsoft's Silverlight plug-in to operate the new feature. And while it's a novel idea, there is an immediate limitation or two - especially for those who play at many tables at a time. But adaptations will be made over the coming weeks - stay tuned to the PROFRB website for the latest.
The announcement from the Intertops website:
- Why Instant Play? Instant Play gives you access to all our poker and casino games without the download. Simply click Play Now and begin playing all from within your browser. It is great for easy and quick access to these games from anywhere!
- Does my computer need any special settings? Your computer will need to have the latest version of Microsoft's SilverLight installed - it's free to download and only takes a few moments. We will even walk you through the process if you hit Play Now without it.
- How do I enable storage on Silverlight? This is a simple change, requiring these quick steps:
- (1) Launch the Microsoft Silverlight software on your computer.
- (2) You will see a box pop up as per below. Visit the Application Storage tab and select 'enable storage'.
- Should I allow pop-ups? We strongly recommend that you allow pop-up windows as this allows you to view all our content such as your Player Rewards, the Cashier and other useful content. For security reasons, you can make this setting only applicable to Intertops.eu. To change your settings to allow pop-ups please follow these simple instructions.
- IE Browser: Tools > Internet Options > Privacy > Pop Up Blocking > Settings and select 'Block Pop Ups' and activate. We strongly recommend adding www[dot]intertops[dot]eu within the 'Address of website to allow' and hit 'Add'.
- FireFox: Tools > Options > Content > Pop Up Blocking >Block Pop Ups> Allowed Sites. We strongly recommend adding www[dot]intertops[dot]eu within the 'Address of website to allow' and hit 'Add'.
- (Editor's note: Those using PC Chrome and other web browsers should have similar options as well.)
- Can I use my Mac? Yes! Instant Play is browser based and usable via PC or MAC. At this time, Instant Play is suitable for Safari. MAC Chrome does not currently support Instant Play unfortunately.
- What games are available on Instant Play? Players can currently enjoy all our poker ring games and tournaments (that's our full menu of over $12 Million monthly tourney guaranteed events, SNG action and heads up).
- Can I multi-table on Instant Play? Instant Play will allow for up to four tables to be tiled, however, expect more soon.
- Will Instant Play add new features and games soon? You can bet on it. Keep note this is BETA so we're going to keep on improving our Instant Play features and gaming options.
