Winning Poker Network - Tournament Dollars Exchange
The Winning Poker network is a US friendly online poker network comprised of a number of skins. WPN skins that are trusted by Professional Rakeback are limited to the flagship brand ACR Poker, former Merge Gaming Network power house Black Chip Poker, and the former stand alone poker site, True Poker. All three of the aforementioned WPN skins are owned and operated by the Winning Poker Network and utilize the very speedy network cashier. **Update: Check out our YaPoker rakeback review about YaPoker or YAP which is a new edition to the list of network owned and operated poker skins, its focus is on the Central and South American poker gaming markets and Professional Rakeback recommends it to native speakers of Spanish and Portuguese.
The Winning Poker Network has been updating it's Elite Benefits Store lately. The Elite Benefits Program is the WPN's loyalty (aka VIP) program. Elite Benefits is a carbon copy of the very well respected Pokerstars Supernova VIP system. Combat Points are equivalent to FPPs in the Pokerstars program. The Combat Points one earns can now be spent on items in the store, cash, and most recently, Tournament Dollars! Here is the official statement from ACR Poker rakeback, the flagship poker brand on The Winning Poker Network:
Tournament Dollars Now Available for Purchase
The other day, we told you about the $1 Million Guaranteed Online Super Series II launching this January. What if we told you that playing in it wouldn't cost you a penny?
We just added Tournament Bucks to our Elite Benefits Store. You can use the Combat Points you earn playing online poker at ACR Poker to purchase Tournament Bucks.
With only 308 Combat Points you can purchase $5.50 Tournament Dollars. And you can buy them directly from the Rewards tab of the ACR Poker application.
You'll be able to register for every single tourney at ACR Poker using Tournament Bucks—including Online Super Series tourneys.
So hit the tables, rack up those Combat Points, and spend them on OSS II — the best tournament series to hit the US poker world in a long time. Or check the store and buy yourself something nice.
So now that you have read the press release, let us explain a little more. As it currently stands, Tournament Bucks can only bue used to buy tickets for online multi table tournaments, or MTT tournaments as they are commonly referred to. The system was set up to allow Tournament Bucks to also be spendable on single table online poker tournaments, better known as sit and goes, or SNG however, there are currently a couple glitches in the poker software that will require a full on rewrite of the code to properly implement. Now fret not, SNG and HUSNG players are not left out in the cold because of this glitch. Professional Rakeback has confirmed with WPN management that players can in fact spend their T$ on single table tournaments, it just requires a manual process.
Professional Rakeback works with three premier brands on the Winning Poker Network. ProfRB recommends ACR Poker, True Poker, Black Chip Poker Rakeback and YaPoker to our online poker grinders, as they offer the best VIP program and rakeback programs, as well as the best customer service and promotions... not to mention swag tournaments such as the OSS II.
In order to exchange Tournament Bucks in a manner in which to play SNGs and HUSNGs, our poker players will need to contact WPN directly. This is easily done with live chat (recommended) or via their 800 number found on the ACR Poker website under the "contact us" section. Once a player contacts support, they simply ask that their accumulated T$ be converted into real money. Support will convert the funds. Players must use the converted money to play some sit and goes. If one simply takes the money and cashes out, the security department will eventually catch on and disallow your account from converting to real money. So at least try to play a couple sit and goes here and there if you are looking to use this method in order to increase your effective rakeback percentage. You'll like the sit and goes they are soft, and there is a free progressive rake race associated with them called "Sit and Crush" that the serious SNG grinders earn hundreds and perhaps thousands of extra dollars per month in compensation, as well as free MTT tickets to major live poker satellites around the world.
EDITOR'S NOTE: As of 2017, combat points can not be redeemed for T$. We have spoken to WPN about this matter and they assure us that CPs will once again be able to be exchanged for Tournament Bucks. Unfortunately they do not have an ETA for this. We will udpate this page when that happens.
