SwC Poker Introduces 24-Hour Freeroll Schedule

SwCPoker Logo

Running up a poker bankroll from zero is quite a challenge, but SwCPoker is here to make it easier for newcomers to the game. On Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, SwC announced on its website that it will from now on be running a freeroll every hour throughout the day.

SwC Poker has decided to implement a new freeroll schedule with a new tournament every hour

Freeroll Schedule

Calendar

A new freeroll will start at 30 minutes past the hour, and late registration stays open for 30 minutes. This means that no matter what time you log on to the site, you will have to wait no longer than 30 minutes to join in a game with no cost to yourself.

Although there's a short late registration period, there are no re-entries, rebuys, or add-ons permitted in these SwC freerolls. Thus, the action is brisk, and you should not have to commit too much of your time to playing in these games.

These freerolls are not just for fans of No Limit Hold'em. SwCPoker is known for the breadth of poker variants that it supports, and it's putting much of this poker menu to good use in these free poker tournaments. In fact, every day of the week is devoted to a different form of poker:

  • Mixed Game Monday: Formats with rotating games, like HORSE, 8-Game, and 10-Game
  • Draw Tuesday: Games where you draw to replace cards, like Badugi, 2-7 Triple Draw, and Badacey
  • Stud Wednesday: The three main stud games, which are Seven Card Stud, Razz, and Stud/8
  • Drawmaha Thursday: Also called “Sviten,” this is an unusual combination of Omaha and 5 Card Draw
  • Omaha Friday: Devoted to four card, five card, and six card Omaha varieties
  • Hold'em Saturday: The Cadillac of Poker, NL Texas Hold'em, along with the popular Pineapple, Short Deck, and Limit Hold'em variants
  • 6-Max Sunday: 6-handed PLO and NLHE

Even on days where Hold'em isn't a featured format, around half of the freerolls are for NLHE. The exception is Omaha Friday wherein there is no Hold'em to be found.

Prize Pools

Gold Dollar Bills

In case you're unaware, all cashier functions and gameplay at SwC are denominated in Bitcoin. This means that the prize pools of the freerolls are also counted in bitcoins.

Each chip at SwCPoker is equal to 1 millionth of a Bitcoin. Put another way, it takes 1,000,000 SwC chips to equal 1 BTC. At current market rates, this means that 1 chip is worth about $0.12.

The freerolls have prize pools of 50 chips, 100 chips, and 200 chips. This works out to $6, $12, and $24 respectively. The 50-chip free BTC tournaments occupy most of the time slots from early morning to mid-afternoon. Most of the rest of them pay out 100 chips with the prize pools increased to 200 chips during the busiest periods of the day.

Value

Pot of Gold

There's between $6 and $24 worth of value in each of the new SwCPoker freerolls, so you won't get rich playing them. Still, the fields tend to be small – between 50 and 150 people – and around 12% or 13% of the participants receive prizes. Therefore, you stand a good chance of realizing some solid value.

There's no need to make a deposit at all before you request a withdrawal from SwC. The only requirement is that the minimum payout amount is 500 chips (approximately $60). SwCPoker only charges the BTC network fee for cashouts; there's no additional fee.

SwCPoker Caters to Low-Stakes Players

Man Pointing

Even after you build up some funds through the SwCPoker Bitcoin poker freerolls, you may want to stick around. You see, there are several reasons why this is a great place for nano- and micro-stakes grinders.

At blind levels between 0.02/0.04 and 0.10/0.20 (roughly $0.0025/$0.005 and $0.01/$0.02), there's no rake at all. Then as you advance through the stakes in big bet games up to 5/10 (about $0.60/$1.20), you'll pay a rake of no more than 4% up to a maximum of 28 ($3.40). On the limit side, you can play as high as 50/100 ($6/$12) with a rake no higher than 3% up to 20 ($2.40). These are very competitive rake schedules, which mean that you'll retain more of your hard-won earnings.

As if this weren't enough, you can obtain rakebackk through the Krill rewards program. Starting at a modest 5%, as you advance through the tiers of the system, you can eventually reach a point where you receive 50% of your rake back.
