Rake & Rise Rewards - Get Your Own Personalized Poker Rewards

Pointing Man

The Rake & Rise Rewards program started in January and has continued on ever since. Get ready for this intriguing offer combining skill, strategy, and random rewards.

Players ascend through six different tiers to determine what level of prize they qualify for. The more games you play, the higher you go, and you unlock a variety of personalized rewards along the way.

Rake a mere $25 in a week to qualify for a level 1 random prize while raking $1,925 will position you at level 6 with a correspondingly more lucrative prize. Prizes include game bonuses, cash, tournament tickets, tournament money, and cash bonuses.

Mystery Bounty Tournaments

Question Mark

The Mystery Bounty Tournaments are now taking place in a convenient Sit & Go format. These take their cues from traditional bounty tournaments but come with their own twist.

In the traditional version, a predetermined bounty is awarded to players with every knockout they achieve. In the mystery version, you get an unpredictable bounty bonus instead!

Every time you join a Mystery Bounty Tournament, a fraction of your entry fee is added to the constantly growing jackpot pool. When a player is eliminated, this feature leaps into life, presenting an exciting moment of chance, with a random cash prize awarded to the person who got the elimination.

You can see the jackpot total at any time during the tournaments as well as the games that you can play with a connection to this.

Bad Beat Jackpot 2.0

Money Bag

The old Chico Poker Network Bad Beat Jackpot has been reworked and dubbed as “Bad Beat Jackpot 2.0.” The promo is scheduled to continue until further notice, so you can definitely benefit from it right now.

Chico Poker has inserted the Bad Beat Jackpot into all No Limit Hold'em cash games, with each stake level having its own jackpot. This guarantees an increased frequency in terms of the payouts available across the board. Everyone can therefore get in on the action whether you're a newcomer or an experienced gamer.

Bad Beat means a high-ranking poker hand that is beaten by an even higher-ranking hand. It pays out when a minimum hand of Aces Full of Kings is beaten by anything higher at the table. It's not just the player who is beaten who gets to benefit from this jackpot though. Everyone playing at that stake level can do so as well. As a result, nobody leaves the table with empty hands.

The Bad Beat payouts that are available operate as follows:

  • Player with the Bad Beat (Losing Hand): 20%
  • Winner of the Hand: 10%
  • Players at the Table Where the Bad Beat Jackpot Was Triggered: 10%
  • Players Playing on Other Bad Beat Tables: 20%
  • Reseed Value: 35%
  • House Fee: 5%

The prize pool is a progressive jackpot amount, with different amounts coming from each pot, depending upon the stakes played at. The jackpot is only active at a table where four or more players are dealt into the hand. The jackpot contributions can be seen in the table below.

StakeBBJ FeePer PotMax Cap
NL10$0.01$1$0.05
NL25$0.03$1$0.15
NL50$0.04$2$0.20
NL100$0.20$10$1
NL200$0.30$20$1.50
NL500$0.40$50$2
NL1000$0.50$100$2.50

A hand must go to showdown to qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot. In addition, both the winning and losing hands must use both hole cards. In the case of four-of-a-kind, the relevant player's hole cards must be a pocket pair, and in the event of Aces Full, the player must have pocket aces.

PLO Bad Beat Jackpot

PLO

New in April of last year, and running onwards ever since, is the PLO version of the Bad Beat Jackpot. Much like the Texas Hold'em BBJ, the Omaha one consists of different jackpots for each stake level. Unlike the NLHE Bad Beat, though, to qualify in Omaha requires a higher hand strength threshold: Four of a kind sixes or better must go to showdown and lose.

Most of the rules pertaining to the PLO BBJ are the same as for the two-card poker jackpot, but the way the bad beat drop is collected is different:

StakeBBJ FeePer PotMax Cap
PLO10$0.04$2$0.20
PLO25$0.04$2$0.20
PLO50$0.04$2$0.20
PLO100$0.20$15$1
PLO200$0.20$15$1
PLO500$0.40$75$2
PLO1000$0.40$75$2

Overall, the jackpot contributions by blind level have a “flatter” structure in PLO with more taken out of smaller pots and less removed from bigger pots compared to Hold'em.
