Having just concluded its Sun Run Series, ACR Poker is continuing the excitement with a Run Up Series. But whereas the Sun Run Series had barely $2 million in guarantees, the Run Up Series promises at least $10 million guaranteed. There are 163 numbered series events running from July 12 – Aug. 17.

As we just mentioned, the tournaments in the Run Up Series are numbered from #1 to #163. However, there are actually a few more than 163 events because some tourneys are “paired up” and share a number. For example, the $109 Jackpot Major with $40,000 guaranteed at 8:30 a.m. ET on July 19 is designated Run Up #36A while the Jackpot PKO Major, with the same buyin amount and guarantee but starting 35 minutes later, is called the Run Up #36B.
Unlike most series at the Winning Poker Network, this one focuses almost solely on No Limit Texas Hold'em poker to the exclusion of other variants, like PLO and Stud. However, some variety is present in the form of Progressive Knockouts and Mystery Bounty tourneys.
There's also a wide array of buyin levels present from $5.50 to $1,050. Guarantees range from $7,500 to an even $1 million. You can thus attempt to run up your bankroll whatever the current state of your finances happens to be.

With well in excess of a hundred events, spread over the course of five weeks, it might be hard for you to find the time to play all or even most of them. Therefore, we have identified some of the most notable tournaments that you might want to keep your eye on if you're looking for just a few MTTs to play.
There's a multi-flight tourney, numbered Run Up #4, that costs $66 to enter and has $1 million guaranteed. You can play Day 1s from Sunday, July 22 to Monday, Aug. 17. The second day of play also starts on Aug. 17 at 3:05 p.m. ET.
As long as you're not being staked through the ACR platform, you can enter as many Day 1s as you like with all your surviving stacks combined to generate your Day 2 starting stack. On Day 2, any player elimination will reward the one who knocked them out with a randomized bounty between $150 and $100,000.
There are three Main Events with buyins of $1,050, $215, and $33 and guarantees of $750,000, $400,000, and $200,000 respectively. They're numbered #1, #2, and #3 on the schedule.
Each of them begins on Sunday, Aug. 16 at 11:05 a.m. ET and has a second day of play Monday, Aug. 17 at 1:05 p.m. The smallest, $33-buyin event plays through to its conclusion on this second day, but the two larger Mains have their final tables on Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 1:05 p.m.
For reasons unknown to us at this time, ACR has elected to include just a single non-Hold'em event within the Run Up Series. This is the last numbered event on the schedule, Run up #163, on Sunday, Aug. 16 at 5:05 p.m. It's a 5 Card PLO/8 Progressive Knockout tourney.
The buyin stands at a hefty $630, and the guarantee is $40,000. This implies a small expected field of fewer than 100 entrants. Fans of big-money PLO tournaments might want to check this one out especially because it's the only outlet for PLO of any kind on the Run Up Series schedule.

There will be two leaderboards running throughout the Run Up Series with $100,000 in prizes between them. The leaderboards are divided based on buyin level and called High (for buyins above $33) and Low (buyins of $33 and less). The prizes include cash, VENOM tickets, and VENOM Mega satellite tickets.
The prizes available on the High leaderboard are:
And on the Low leaderboard, the following prizes are up for grabs:
