Intertops Returns to US Market

Intertops Poker has decided to return to the American market completely and will no longer require an invitation code to open an account.  There is are only two state restrictions with this new direction, sorry Kentucky and Washington, but luckily there are other real money US poker sites that will accept your business.  For the citizens in the remaining 48 states, this is the first time that Intertops Poker has had open signups for US-based players since just after Black Friday in 2011.

Intertops Poker Overview

Intertops Poker is part of the Horizon Network and has been a reputable and successful site for well over a decade.  Players shouldn’t be scared to deposit on the network because of what happened with Lock Poker previously as Intertops has always made its payments on time and operated on a separate cashier than Lock Poker had before Lock Poker’s move to create its own insolvent network.  In fact, when Lock Poker went bankrupt, Intertops continued on without even a hiccup in payouts. 

While most US-friendly networks offer the same promotions across all of their skins, Horizon Network is a little bit different.  In a piece we did a number of months ago we talked about some of the small differences in promotions available to players on both Juicy Stakes Poker and Intertops Poker.  These changes are still true and with both sites now being open to Americans, a player can decide which promotions work best for them and provide the most rewards for their play. 

Intertops Poker Redesigned Sportsbook

This announcement was supposed to coincide with the opening of a redesigned sportsbook hosted by Horizon Network.  This opening though has been delayed slightly as there is still some beta testing and final adjustments being made prior to it being released to the public.  Players will be thankful for these fixes, as many US-facing sites roll out new features and redesigns first and worry about beta testing it later.  The new site is expected to be available within the next couple of weeks and we will announce to you when it has been opened for public use.  UPDATE:  The sportsbook performed admirably and is 100% live and fully functional.

Conclusion
