US-facing offshore Sunday online poker tournament results & review; including overlays, final table results, player traffic, and in-depth coverage of MTT's available to US players.
The following report is a full review of Sunday tournament results from top US-facing online poker rooms such as Bovada (the US-facing room on the Bodog Network), the Merge Gaming Network, the Winning Poker Network, the Juicy Stakes review Seals With Clubs (independent Bitcoin poker room), and the Equity Poker Network.
ProfRB.com gives you the score like no other with the following Sunday US-facing Offshore Tournament Results and Review! MTT traffic was off from last Sunday as US players continue to flip flop between the online poker tables and the warm, sunny beaches of the summer season (where they wear flip flops - ironic!).
Pokerhost | Equity: Sunday traffic up 14%
Bovada | Bodog: Sunday traffic up 8%
Carbon Poker | Merge: Sunday traffic down 1% (14,039 entries in the Dollar Frenzy not counted here)
ACR Poker | WPN: Sunday traffic down 8%
Intertops | Juicy Stakes: Sunday traffic down 22%
The Equity Poker Network continues its slow and steady upward climb with yet another Sunday of double digit traffic improvement on the heels of increased guarantees in several tournaments. Carbon Poker hosted a $25,000 GTD "Dollar Frenzy" event that brought in over 14,000 entries (and a $10k overlay), but otherwise traffic was level from last weekend. Bovada's surge in player traffic came from the final day of the Summer Million Poker Open, which saw guarantees crushed in their $200k and $100k SMPO events.
Traffic was also down on the Winning Poker Network, with player totals down in all $2,500 GTD and higher events - but overlays remained under $2,000 for the day. ACR Poker, the leading skin on WPN, announced earlier this month a $1,000,000 GTD tournament coming this December. ProfRB.com feels this will be a huge attraction for US players, and we expect MTT traffic to rise over the coming weeks and months as a result - though it may be late August before the summer slow season's effect fully runs its course.

Carbon's $125,000 guaranteed Sunday Big Ticket saw 697 entries, bringing the prize pool north of $139,000 all told. The victor was StopCrying15, who held back the tears to earn a solid $28,103.04 prize for the win. It was loozak27 who took down second place for $18,540.20, with HaydoSpeed finishing up in third place to bring home $11,291.40.
The aforementioned ACR Poker on WPN held their weekly $50,000 guaranteed event this past Sunday, with 362 entries comprising the $72,400 final prize pool. In first place was Muhammad Allin, who won $14,842 (and the week's "Unique Table Name" award) in the victory effort. Second place went to walrus66 who earned $9,231, and third place saw the body spill take in $6,516 to round out the top three.
Full Flush Poker and Pokerhost ran their $15,000 GTD "Big Fat" event on Sunday with 236 players taking part, creating a sizeable $2,675 overlay and appeciable added value. motercity1 emerged victorious winning $3,150 for first place, while alchemist took the second position to earn $2,250. Cfaz7 finished in third place, taking home $1,500.
The $10,000 guaranteed weekly Sunday MTT on Juicy Stakes and Intertops produced a small $325 overlay, though only 77 players took part for the lowest total in this event this year. PIFF13 claimed first place and the $3,000 prize, while CANTBREATHE, who apparently can breathe, finished second to win $2,000. MantaCool placed third, taking home a solid $1,500 score.
And finally, the Big BTC ran on popular Bitcoin poker site Seals With Clubs on Sunday, with 47 entries pushing the overall prize pool north of 11,100 SWC chips. First place went to xxHaZ, who won 3,348.75 SWC chips for the win, and igneous finished in second place earning 2,232.50 SWC chips. A player with the handle of tttttttttttt took home third place, winning 1,562.75 SWC chips.
