ProfRB.com breaks down the week's US-facing online poker tournaments that have overlays, offering MTT players an inside look at the best value events.

Online tournament players looking for an edge to give them more value will find ProfRB.com's Weekly MTT Value | Overlay Report full of useful information!

The report below factors all US-facing online poker room | network tournaments featuring guarantees of $5,000 or higher. This is generally the range we track on our MTT Overlay Reports, though we've added a few more MTT's on the Winning Poker Network in an effort to better reflect their overall schedule. In addition, we also track several MTT's below the $5,000 threshold on the Equity Poker Network and the Intertops Network since only a few tournaments on their current schedules (the $15,000 GTD Sunday major on Revolution and the $5,000/$10,000 GTD Sunday offerings on EPN) eclipse this mark.

In this week's report, we've revamped how we display overlays on US-facing poker sites. Overlays were up for the most part due to the Mother's Day holiday weekend. The Winning Poker Network remains atop the report with a sizable increase in overlays. The Equity Poker Network jumps into the second position with nearly double the dollar amount of overlays from last week. Bovada, Ignition Poker, and the Carbon Gaming Network both saw noticable increases, while Revolution sported an increase in overlays from their daily Monday through Friday schedule. We feature Sunday offerings on Seals With Clubs as well, and the Bitcoin-only poker room saw a reduction in their overlay figure from increased play in their signature event.

While the Mother's Day holiday could be attributed to an increase in Sunday overlays, WPN saw reduced tournament traffic in the insuing work week schedule that caused some big opportunities for added value. All seven offerings of their daily $2.5k MTT had overlays, while the $12.5k GTD for $28+$2 continues to be a beacon for those looking to score a decent payout at WPN's expense. While the network remains strong and will be offering another High Five tournament series in June, there is cause for some concern that MTT changes may be coming in the near future. Overlays can be a useful tool for a poker room to advertise their tournaments. However, WPN has lost money on their Monday through Friday schedule for three weeks straight, and with the hot summer days nearing (typically a down time for online poker traffic), one can surmise that potential changes may not be seen as improvements. ProfRB.com will keep you apprised of any developments when they occur.

Other MTT's of note: As highlighted in our Winning Poker Network Overlays and Tournament Results page, WPN offers a weekly $50,000 GTD on Sundays (bumped to $100,000 once a month) and a daily $5,000 GTD, which now runs at 8pm EST Monday through Friday, and at 2pm EST on Saturday and Sunday.

Equity Poker Network has made some increases in stated guarantees across their daily MTT schedule over the past couple of weeks. And in doing so, overlays continue to be high in presence as more traffic begins to flow towards EPN-partner rooms Pokerhost and Full Flush Poker. This is quite a solid time to pick up some additional value - particularly in weekend events such as the $3,000 GTD on Saturdays or the bumped up $2,000 GTD event that runs daily. All of the tournaments tracked also offer re-entry and add-on ability within 60-70 minutes of start time. This lends itself to smaller player fields, and as EPN continues to grow and make MTT adjustments, we feel the value is well worth the investment.

Other MTT's of note: As highlighted in our Equity Poker Network Overlays and Tournament Results page, Equity now runs a $10,000 GTD event each and every Sunday.

Even the Merge Gaming Network, with their now-reintegrated partner poker rooms led by Carbon Poker and Aced Poker, was not immune to the effects of "MOTHERPOCALYPSE™" as it was dubbed in ProfRB.com's USA Sunday Majors Tournament Review. However, we have been tracking a relative increase in the frequency of overlays during Carbon OPS, which continues through the end of this weekend. Whether this is simply a result of the added events of OPS or a trend will not be known until the end of the month. One would assume that Merge would enjoy a healthy traffic bump after a successful tournament series such as OPS. However, OPS events have accumulated over $50,000 in overlays through 65 tournaments thus far. And with summer on the periphery, we expect traffic will likely flatten out from the initial high of desegregation, which could be the cause of more added value for players of all skill sets.

Other MTT's of note: As highlighted in our Merge Network Overlays and Tournament Results page, Merge offers several Sunday offerings for players looking for potential added value. The $12.5k GTD for $33 and $10k GTD for $11 at 4pm EST, along with the $15k GTD $109 at 7pm EST, give players of wide ranging ability ample opportunity for a solid score. (note that some regular Sunday MTT's will not run during Carbon OPS)

Several tournaments on Bovada's overall daily schedule continue to see hit and miss overlays. On the whole, however, things are progressing well for the US-facing arm of the Bodog Network. ProfRB.com expects spotty overlays to continue as we move forward into the typically slower summer season. But make no mistake - there is a reason why they are still the clear #1 option for US players. Adding a few overlays, each typically in the $100-$500 range, only increases the value of their overall MTT schedule. You'll be hard pressed to find a better place to play online tournament poker, as nearly all of their stated guarantees are surpassed on a daily basis.

Other MTT's of note: As highlighted in our Bovada Overlays and Tournament Results page, Bovada offers up all kinds of options for every type of tournament player. While not quite at the level of pre-Black Friday offerings for US players, Bovada does offer a $100,000 Sunday MTT that frequently reaches over $150,000 in prize money and is far and away the largest regularly scheduled multi-table tournament available to players from the USA in terms of player field. Pick your poison here, MTT grinders - there's something for everyone.

The MTT schedule on the Revolution Network (we recommend Intertops and Juicy Stakes for US players looking for safe, secure Revolution poker rooms) continues to leave a bit to be desired. With only a small amount of tournaments nearing $1,000 GTD or better (though one more was added in April - the $27.50 $1k GTD at 2:30pm EST), you are hard pressed to find overlays of substantive value on a mass scale. However, the Sunday $15,000 GTD offering has historically shown to be a destination for added value. With player fields generally in the 100-130 range and a tendency to overlay in streaks (the field dipped to just 94 players this past Sunday, good for a $3,250 overlay), it's still a recommended stop on your Sunday grind. Monday through Saturday, however, the appeal for grinders would be the lower player fields in relation to the lower guarantees. There's still money to be made, obviously, which should satisfy the pallets of any type of tournament player.

Other MTT's of note: As highlighted in our Revolution Network Overlays and Tournament Results page, several deep-stacked turbo MTT's run daily with guarantees of $500, $850, and $1,000. Rebuy tournaments with $1,000 guaranteed also run, usually at least once daily.

The leading Bitcoin-only online poker site continues to showcase its signature event, which has overlaid both times this month to the tune of 5,325 SWC chips in total. We're only including Sunday events for the time being - but the one staple that has emerged as a dependable spot for added value is the signature 20,000-chip guaranteed event for 475+25 SWC chips. You can only deposit and withdraw with Bitcoins, the increasingly popular yet still volatile crypto-currency. But all play on SWC is straight up poker. Players buy in with SWC chips (1 chip equals 0.001 Bitcoins, no matter the fluctuations in value of Bitcoins) and win SWC chips, so all figures in the above graphic are obviously labeled as such. If you're into Bitcoins and love a wild west feel to the game, then SWC is by far the best option available.
